marshall. just west of baltimore it was warmer today. up around 80 in ellicott city. into the 80s in bethesda. 72 bwi marshall. of course we push 80 as you go out into the western maryland. not the gusty winds of yesterday. just lights breezes averaging 9 to 10 miles per hour. pleasant light breeze. maryland's radar we are crystal clear. expecting to stay that way right into the weekend. just a few thin clouds right now. there is a gigantic dome of subtropical high pressure. you can see exactly where that big bubble is in the atmosphere because the clouds are here across the upper midwest into baltimore. this is a huge, clear area. >> these giant high pressure cell. it is centered around atlanta

right now. warm air ahead of it. warmer air on the backside because wrapping around is a southerly wind flow. as the high shifts east we are expecting to see our temperatures surge into the 80-degree range or so into the our easter weekend. we can see much of the area in the west above 80. charlotte 85. detroit was warmer than us today at 81. 47 clear skies. not as chilly tonight. two two-degree guaranteed temperature. we'll go with 76. we'll get up to 78 or so. 80-degree air holds off until saturday and sunday. tomorrow night 48. mostly clear. fairly mild. outlook for the next seven days. a nice trend here. we get to 80 with no problem on saturday and again on easter sunday. it is cause for celebration. today the baltimore ravens introduced one of their new
